LEVEL 1

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

SPORT-SPECIFIC METHODOLOGIES – FUNCTIONAL YOGA, PILATES, MINDSET CONDITIONING – ROOTED IN THE SCIENCE OF BIOMECHANICS, INCLUDING:

THE METHODOLOGY

  • Progressive, triplanar sequencing
  • Integration of joints, muscles and diaphragmatic stability
  • Understanding the kinematic sequence
  • Learn three specific assessment strategies enabling you to develop the most effective training strategy
  • Co-activation integration
  • Pranayama (breathing practices) and the practical applications for enhanced performance
  • Training the athlete to access and use ground reaction forces
  • Proper positioning of the cervical spine
  • Practice hands-on adjustments ensuring proper alignment and maximum benefits for the athlete
  • Specific cuing techniques optimize your teaching skills
  • Restorative / regen sequencing
  • Understanding drishti – the physical and mental implications
